Summary: A very large majority of Christian doctors “said they would leave healthcare before they violated their conscience.” This departure, apparently, is exactly what the current healthcare overhaul bill would cause. Because the bill fails to adequately protect doctors (or anyone in the healthcare field, for that matter) from being forced to carry out procedures, such as abortion, that go against their convictions.

Opinion: Isn’t it strange, that those who shout against discrimination are now caught in the act of such? By forcing medical professionals to carry out procedures contrary to their beliefs, the government is restricting some of our fundamental rights as Americans. Sometimes I wonder how politicians can do these things as if they have no conscience...
