Hey everyone this is Randal lee. In my recent studies of Scripture and through prayer, the lord has been allowing me to study on the subject of idols and also the lord has been showing me how this generation of teens are being consumed with their own idols. A  Idol is anything on a heart level and it is something that takes supremacy over your walk with God. In 2 Corinthians 6: 16 NKJV says: And what Agreement has the temple of God with Idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: " I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My People." If we truly desire for God to dwell within us we must smash our idols. Are you willing to give up the things that have your heart? My prayer is that you will give them up so that God will be able to dwell with in your heart. If we fully concecrate ourselves to God with everything we have he will recieve us and abide in us. I really feel strongly that if we would get this concept in our spirits we could reach so many more people for Christ. In Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV Says: Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. This is a amaizing verse it shows me that Christ has done everthing necessary for us to endure in our faith and he has given us the power and grace to renounce idols.
