Is There Not A Cause

Is there not a cause? Or are we running after the wrong causes.  These are the questions I would have to pose to our "black leaders" in America. The Al Sharptons, the Jesse Jacksons whose faces often emerge in the midst of controversial issues and so called cause pertaining to African Americans.  Is there not a cause and what causes are worth covering and why?  I can't help but notice during the past weeks events that I saw prominent black leaders on t.v. more then I had seen them since the Jena 6 incident, and what was the cause you may ask, it was Michael Jacksons death.  Now I will admit that Michael Jackson was a larger than life figure who made great strides in music and entertainment history but my question remain is this a worthy cause for so called black leadership to show up and make a case for Mr. Jackson. Well I say no!

If Mr Sharpton and Mr. Jackson wanted a real cause they should have flown out to North Carolina where a little 5 year old black boy was being molested and abused by his white, homosexual dad who adopted him.  A man that worked as a Duke Professor. A story that received very little press and outlines what is a horrible senario of homosexuals adopting innocent babies. The press has even tried to down play the fact that the Duke professor is a gay man and lives in a gay community in which many of its residents adopts African American children.   This is a cause! While Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are hogging the mic at Micheal Jacksons home we have this horrible act of deviant behavior happening to one of "Our Own".

To add insult to injury this Duke professor Frank Lombard, via the internet molested this 5 year old black boy publicly abusing this precious child and also solicited others to come into town to participate in this abuse. Fortunately this time the guy selected to come was an agent ready to rescue this little boy from this sick, very sick man. When Lombard was asked why he adopted a black child he said because it's easier for a white person to get them.

My issue is not that the "black leaders" went to grieve with Mr. Jacksons family, my issue is that these so called leaders only go places that will bring them more fame, places that will line their pockets, places where they know they will be on television.  This type of no show makes me wonder about their agenda.  Could they not want to highlight this issue because of the homosexual factor?  Are they also part of the liberal left that don't want to come against the gay movement?  A 5 year old boy molested by a white homosexual Duke professor who adopted him, it seems like they would be all over this.  If this is not a cause worth fighting for I don't know what is!
