This week I’ve had the privilege of being the Bible teacher for the Teens Involved youth camp at Word of Life Florida. That means that I’ve been teaching over 400 motivated, excited, eager, enthusiastic high school students who came to camp from Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina and Virginia. In thinking about it I realized that I haven’t spoken at a youth camp since the mid-1970s. Besides being fun for me, it’s also been a good reminder of how much energy it takes to run a high-quality youth camp

During the school year I serve as a guest lecturer at Word of Life Bible Institute. In New York I teach Galatians and here in Florida I teach Daniel. Those students end up spending the summer as counselors either in Florida or in New York.
